Leading security company Protectorcomms teamed with Whitehead Building Services on two exciting new projects. The projects involved the expansion of one school, Ysgol Y Deri in Cardiff and the build of a brand-new Welsh Medium school in Rhydfelin.
Protectorcomms worked on the installation of the fire and intruder alarms, CCTV, aspirating systems and access control for the extension of Ysgol Y Deri School. The extension of the special needs school involved a new building and 150 extra places for pupils.
The new Welsh Medium School in Rhydefelin has been built on a current Primary School site. Phase one was completed on schedule in September and contains first-class education facilities, including a new games area and outdoor areas. Protectorcomms worked on a number of security systems for the new development. These include fire and intruder alarms, disabled refuge, CCTV systems and access control.
